Ingredients
2 blocks of brie
1 tbsp water
¼ maple syrup
¼ c sugar
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp heavy cream
2 tbsp bourbon
½ c pecans, chopped
flaky sea salt

Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Add water, maple syrup, and sugar to a small sauce pan on medium heat. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Add in butter, heavy cream, and bourbon. Stir occasionally until sauce thickens. This takes about 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat once sauce thickens.

Score blocks of brie cheese. Drizzle with half of the maple bourbon sauce. Top with pecans and drizzle with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Bake for 15 minutes or until brie is opened up and melty.
