Ingredients
1 ½ stick unsalted butter
2 ¼ cup flour
½ tsp salt
½ packet vanilla pudding mix
1 ½ tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
¾ cup light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 dark chocolate baking bar
⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions
Step 1
Add butter to a pan on medium heat, mixing continuously until butter browns (about 5-8 minutes).

Set aside and let cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Combine dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl (don't add sugars.)

Mix sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and vanilla pudding mix together in a separate bowl. Then add browned butter.

Once the wet ingredients are mixed, slowly add dry ingredients until combined.
Step 6
Roughly chop chocolate bar and fold into the cookie dough with semi-sweet morsels.

Scoop out balls of cookie dough and place on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Step 8
Preheat oven to 325°. Bake for 8 minutes then take out and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.

Bake for an additional 2 minutes. Let cool on pan for chewy cookies.
